FERTILITY AND PREGNANCY

She regularly consults with CCRM to create the best treatment plan possible for her patients.
If you are struggling to conceive, acupuncture can be of great benefit. Chinese medicine and acupuncture can restore balance to your reproductive and endocrine system. Specifically, acupuncture can assist with increasing blood flow to the reproductive organs, improving uterine lining and egg quality, regulating menstruation and ovulation, helping with implantation by reducing uterine spasms and decreasing the body's stress response. Marcy also works with male patients to improve sperm count, motility and quality.

Pregnant women can find relief from morning sickness and fatigue in the initial stages of pregnancy with acupuncture. In the second and third trimester, acupuncture can be used to treat acid reflux, high blood pressure, edema, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, back pain and can assist in turning a breech baby.

Marcy also uses low level laser to treat infertility issues. Recent research in Denmark and Japan show good outcomes for improving egg quality in natural and IVF cycles using low level laser. Marcy is one of the only acupuncturist in North America using low level laser to assist women with egg quality issues.
