Electro-acupuncture is the term used to refer to the application of a pulsating electrical current to acupuncture needles, or even without needles, to acupuncture points on the body. Electro-acupuncture has been in use since the 1930's. Electricity is applied to acupuncture needles in varying frequencies to stimulate the release of endorphins, neurotransmitters and anti-inflammatory substances.

At Copley Acupuncture I practice a wide variety of electro-acupuncture techniques, predominantly Neuro-puncture, a system created by Dr. Michael Corradino which is excellent for anxiety, depression, acute and chronic pain in the neck and low back, knee, sciatica and neurological conditions

 

Electro Acupuncture For Fertility

 

Electro-acupuncture for fertility greatly benefits women trying to conceive naturally or with IVF by improving uterine lining and blood flow to the uterus and ovaries. This helps improve endometrial thickness and ovarian function, both critical for implantation and egg quality.
